Mark your calendar, folks!
On Saturday, August 16 at 10AM we are having a Yard Sale Extravaganza! Our building is at capacity when it comes to storage, so this yard sale will help us clean up the building, make more room, and provide an opportunity for us to meet some of our neighbours. Come hungry and with extra change because there will be a BBQ from 11am – 1pm. A portion of the proceeds will go towards church missions (Red Frogs and The Doves)
Just like any family yard sale, it’s all hands on deck! We need your help to make this happen. Would you consider helping for one or two hours as we clean out and prepare? Here’s what we need:
Wednesday, August 13 – remove final items from the attic.
Thursday, August 14 – Help sort through what’s junk, what we’re keeping, and what we’re selling.
Friday, August 15 – Help price and label items that will go on sale and assist with set up.
Saturday August 16 (8:30 am – 4pm) – Help set up, cook and sell burgers, run a lemonade stand (kids this is for you!), and clean up.
While we’re at it, maybe you have some things at home that you would like to clear out and sell. Families/students/households, we have some space for you to set up your own table. Please make arrangements with Tyson or Lisl ahead of time if you are interested.
If you have toys, clothing or household items to donate, please drop them off at the church between 9am and 5pm on August 13, 14 or 15.
