As a convenience, we are pleased to receive your online financial gift via your personal credit card. However, as a general principle we do not encourage you to use your credit card to make a financial gift unless you plan to pay off the amount in full.
You can make also one-time, or setup a recurring gift via credit card, by texting "Give 100" (for $100 substitute desired amount) to: 604-256-6611 and follow the prompts.
Eligible donations will receive an annual charitable donation receipt (for more information or if you require an individual receipt instead of annual, please email the finance team).
Other Online Options
We can also receive donations made via CHIMP chimp.net or Canada Helps www.canadahelps.org - however, please note any donations made through them will be processed and tax receipted separately accordingly to their terms and conditions, not by Redemption Church.
If you would like to make regular monthly gifts automatically from your bank account, it is easy to set up, and you are faithfully committing to give regularly and consistently.
Click this link to fill out a Pre-Authorized giving form and return it to us. Call (604.732.5577) or for more information or for further help on this option.
securities, planned giving
If you are interested in further information on planned giving arrangements - gifts of securities, estates, trusts, etc, we would be happy to discuss further with you to explore the options. We can readily accept gifts of eligible securities which are a great way to make donations and obtain even better tax advantages (since gifts of eligible securities are exempt from capital gains taxation). Please feel free to contact our Treasurer, Bill Atkinson directly for a confidential discussion to address any questions you might have or email the email the finance team.

Point Grey Community Church is the historical legal name of our non-profit society, which handles all the adminstration and financial aspects of Redemption. We have now completed our legal name change to Redemption Church.
Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by the Board. Should a donor choose to designate a contribution for use in a particular program or project, we will honour that designation, with the understanding that, when the need for such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the Board, the remaining designated contributions will be used where most needed.
Donor’s cannot choose a specific beneficiary for their gift or ask for the gift to be given to a non-qualified donee. However, a donor can ask that their gift be used in a particular program as long as there is no benefit to the donor or anyone not at arm’s length to the donor.
