Kits Cares

Kits Cares started with churches working together to provide a sit down meal for those in the community. During Covid, Kits Cares transitioned to a grocery hamper program, providing produce, canned goods, bread and dairy items to those with food challenges in the community.

As of February 9th, 2023, Kits Cares relaunched as a low cost community market with increased opening times from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm every Thursday. The market continues to provide some free items as well as hot drinks and snacks, but also provides low cost and subsidized produce and groceries. Kits Cares continues to be run by local churches working together to meet a community need, and is coordinated by a wonderful team at Tenth Church.

If you would like more information about the market, or how to get involved, please talk to LouAnn Schmidt who is the liaison for Kits Cares at Redemption Church.

Thank you for your interest!
