John 6

We are a couple of messages into our series ‘The Word Became Flesh,’ and we are spending the fall contemplating the incarnation – the amazing reality that God became flesh and dwelt among us in Jesus. John says that Jesus revealed God’s glory among us, as the One who is full grace and truth. He has revealed who God is and what he is like. This week, we’ll be meditating together on John 6 and Jesus’ revelation, “I am the Bread of Life.” In what ways does God mean to be bread for us? What does he mean when he says not to work for food that spoils but for food that endures to eternal life? And how does this affect the way we engage in the mission he has given us?
