Elder Monica noted a few weeks ago that for many of us September acts like a season of reset. For many of us there’s this jarring transition that takes place in September as we get jolted awake out of the daze of the summer into this frenetic pace as our schedules are chock full with new tasks, routines, and commitments. For many of us, it’s this upending of our summer rhythms that makes us acutely aware that we have embarked into an entirely new season.

In Mark 1:15, as Jesus steps into Galilee he proclaims, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Did any of the people of Galilee feel some sort of shift take place in their souls as Jesus made this pronouncement about the nearness of the Kingdom of God? In this message, Pastor Daniel Kang explores the theme of “repenting and believing” and what it looks like to take steps of faith into this kingdom that Jesus speaks of.
