The Land Between: Lessons From The Desert

The desert is a place of practical and symbolic significance in scripture. It represents threat and danger, hardship and suffering, isolation and testing. But it is also the place of intimacy with God, of being stripped of the impediments to a life with God, of the formation of new identity, and of his leading and provision. It’s the place hardly any of us would choose, yet nearly all of us have experienced at one point or another. And it is the way to the promised land.

Our message series entitled The Land Between: Lessons from the Desert is a month-long reflection on Israel’s journey in the desert, the space between deliverance from slavery in Egypt and the promised land.
