Hebrews 12:1-3

We are preparing to start the year seeking God with focus and intentionality. What can you forego for the sake of making yourself more available for relating to the LORD and more attentive to the leading of his Spirit? What practice(s) might you add for the purpose of drawing near to Jesus and abiding in him? To whom will you be accountable – not just for refraining from certain foods or activities but for inviting God to come close?
This Sunday, we meditate on Hebrews 12:1-3 and explore what it takes to “fix our eyes on Jesus.” What must be laid aside? What must be embraced? And how can we see breakthrough in ‘harder’ areas of our lives and circumstances?
