Ephesians 3: 14-21

In this message, Pastor Daniel focuses our attention on Paul’s pastoral prayer in the letter to the Ephesians. As Paul prays for these Christians in Ephesus, notice that he does not pray for God to change the circumstances of their lives. He doesn’t pray that these Christians would be spared from the trials and tribulations of life, rather he prays for the condition of their hearts. He prays for two things, that Christ would dwell in their hearts through faith (Eph. 3:17), and he prays that they would be “filled with all the fullness of God” (Eph.3:19).

Together we explore what it means for Christ to dwell in a person’s heart. This word “dwell” carries the connotation of someone settling down in a house. What it means for Christ to make himself at home in our hearts.
