In this message, Pastor Daniel Kang embarks on a new series on the book of Jonah till the start of Advent. There’s some discrepancy on what the book of Jonah is really all about, and if it even is a real historical story or just a ‘whale of a tale?’ In Matthew 12, Jesus refers to the story of Jonah and essentially says that the story is actually about him. These are some of the themes that we will explore. Pastor Daniel contends in this series that the central character is not really the wayward prophet or the sinful Ninevites, the central character is really the missional God who sends this strange wayward prophet to Nineveh. This story is really about God’s missional heart.
